Other things?

Action Man (2000)

An animated series featuring CJ's voice as "Simon Grey". The pilot, Competitive Edge aired on FOX on the 20th May 2000, and season one premiered in the autumn. Alex Mann, dubbed "Action Man", leads Team Xtreme as they compete in the Acceleration Games. (I'm not making this up!) He discovers he has amazing powers, the result of a secret research experiment. And so he travels the world, foiling the plans of the evil Dr X. Simon Grey is the person who knows the origins of Alex's special powers. He guides him in his strugles against Dr X. So Chris is a series regular! Yaaaay!

Andromeda (2002/3)

Chris was in the episode The Knight, Death and the Devil. The crew of the Andromeda set off to rescue some captured High Guard ships, one of which is the Wrath of Achilles. That ship's avatar is none other than Chris Judge! For a more detailed synopsis, because this is rubbish, check out Lady Maigrey's Andromeda Ascendant.

He is also in the episode Day of Judgement Day of Wrath along with Stargate's Michael Shanks (Jackson) and JR Bourne (Martouf)!

Bird on a Wire (1990)

This was Christopher Judge's first proper acting role. He had a small part in what is generally acknowledged to be a pretty bad film, playing "Cop at Cafe" or "Officer Sikes", as he is more formally titled. Personally, I didn't think it was that bad. The lead characters were played by Mel Gibson and Goldie Hawn. A brief plot synopsis would go along the lines of, "Informer gets recognised by his ex-fiancée and they're chased around a lot by the bad guys who just got out of jail."

Cadence/Stockade (1991)

Another film which could hardly be described as a box office smash. CJ plays "Psychiatry Ward Military Policeman (M.P.) #1". Charlie Sheen plays the lead; the film centres around a soldier who ends up in the stockade for beating up an MP, and he's the only white prisoner there. Oh, and he had a pool related tattoo done on his hand, too. Naughty boy. Chris is in it for a couple of seconds near the end - and the guard who's with him is played by Brent Stait! (Ferretti in Stargate). In fact, there are lots of Stargate actors. Jay Brazeau (Harlan), Tom McBeath (Maybourne) and Don S Davis (Hammond) all have small parts too! Hooray!

First Wave (2001)

"Christopher Judge was in the third season episode Beneath The Black Sky, otherwise known as Sensei. He played an alien mentor to First Wave's hero, Cade Foster. Xevallah taught Cade that in order to gain belief in other people, he first has to believe in himself. Xevallah journied to Earth with a companion when the show's enemy, an alien race known as the Gua, invaded and destroyed his peaceful home. His companion was Nostradamus, and they brought the language Aramaic with them (in the show canon, anyway). He led Cade to be blessed with special power that helped him stop the Gua and their anti-Christ, Mabus, from invading and destroying Earth, much like they did Xevallah's planet. It was a graphically great episode, and Christopher Judge was a pleasure to view."

Freedom (2001)

They only showed the first seven episodes of this show before it disappeared. To begin with UPN said it was on hiatus, but now they've removed all the stuff about it from their website. Which is a shame, because Christopher Judge was in the eleventh episode, Mind Game, playing Doctor Roeg. The episode sounds interesting - Doctor Roeg's job is to torture a "strategist" to try and reveal the group's plans for a major offensive. If you want to see some secret unaired episode type pictures from Mind Game, go to here Wow, he has a sharp suit and groovy evil goatee. Excellent.

Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1995)

In the sixth season, episode 134, entitled There's The Rub (part 2), Chris has a TINY part! Basically, blink and you'll miss it! He's credited as being "workman", and his line is something like, "There's another one of these out back". Not exactly a HUGE part. The episode is the thanksgiving one where Carlton and Hilary help out at a shelter whilst Will and Uncle Phil end up in jail after being caught in a massage parlour... Did this show go downhill, or is it just me?!

Gabriel's Fire (1990/1991)

Admittedly, I haven't found out much about this. All I know is that it had James Earl Jones in it and Chris was going all out to impress him, in a kind of over the top way. Mr Jones called Chris to his trailer, and Chris thought it was to say how great his acting was. Obviously it wasn't, because he was acting slightly crazily! Mr Jones gave Chris a piece of advice he still values, "Let stillness be your strength". And that's all I know. :)

House Party 2 (1991)

CJ has a really large part in this. He's one of the bad guys. The only problem is that I really didn't like the film. Oh well. Basically, when Kid's tuition fee money gets handed over to some con artists, they hold a pyjama jam to raise some cash. That's it. That's the plot. CJ is Miles, and if he hadn't been in it, I may well have stopped watching the film. Ooer.

Just Cause (2002)

Chris was in the 12th episode of the first series, The Wives of Christmas Past. This is the synopsis from TVTome: "Alex takes the case of a pastor who runs a homeless shelter and gets an eviction notice. Whitney must buy gifts three ex-wives." The show has tons of Stargate actors in it. This episode also features Robert Wisden (Samuels) and Jason Schombing (Rothman)! But people like Don S. Davis (Hammond) have also starred. Cool.

Macgyver (1990)

Christopher Judge was in the episode entitled, Live And Learn, in which his character (Deron) is a promising high-school student who gets "reached out to" by MacGyver as part of the Phoenix mentor program. He had this to say on the subject:

"In the MacGyver I did with Rick years ago, I played a high school student, a cocky football player who thought the classroom was just a place to go while the football field was being cleaned. MacGyver taught me a lesson about fulcrums and levers, and I was that much wiser in the end. Our makeup artist Dan Newman, brought a tape of the episode to the set, and everyone got a good laugh over how much younger we both looked. If anything, Rick has gotten more amiable since then. He's a pleasure to be around."

Out of Line (2001)

There's an innocent man who's been sent to jail. (Isn't there always?) Chris's character (Alfonso James) offers him a deal to get out - he has to set up his ex-partner. Then I think the innocent guy falls in love with the probation officer... I dunno really. I just like the way it mentions CJ in the trailer as "Christopher Judge of House Party 2 and Bird on a Wire". I mean, he had a HUGE part in Bird on a Wire, NOT! And besides, it only mentions The X-Files when it talks about William B Davis, so why doesn't it mention Stargate when it talks about Chris? You know, I don't care. It doesn't really matter. Does it?

Romantic Comedy 101 (2001)

So, this was made in 2001, but it aired in 2002 on E!TV. Chris plays the head of an internet magazine company. And apparently wears a really bad shirt. According to E!'s website, the plot is this: "A veteran filmmaker takes a novice under his wing to help guide him through the hazardous maze of movie production". But what makes me think it's bound to be great is that the mighty Peter DeLuise directed it! Hooray!

Sirens (1994-5)

CJ was a series regular in the second season of Sirens as Richie Styles. Sirens is a cop show that has been described as "underrated". I wouldn't like to comment as I've never seen it! Episodes that sound particularly Christopher Judge filled are, Missing, in which Richie goes, well, missing; Victims, in which Richie and Molly try to stop an extortionist; and Passenger, in which he "rides shotgun" when they're trying to catch someone who murders cab drivers.

Snow Dogs/Winterdance (2002)

Another one of those soppy Disney films, but this one has Chris in it! Not very much though. He's right at the beginning, in the 1970's flashback. In a lovely wig. He plays Ted Brook's father. Ted Brooks inherits some Snow Dogs, ends up exploring his roots and, erm, racing dogs, or something... But no more Christopher Judge.

Stargate SG-1 (1997 onwards)

What can I say? The show that made Christopher Judge the best loved Jaffa on the television! If you hadn't watched this, you probably wouldn't be checking this website out... He plays Teal'c, an alien who helps the people of Earth fight against the evil aliens known as the Goa'uld. To begin with he was pretty much the "token alien" in the storylines, but now he's come into his own as a really deep character. More please!

X-Men: Evolution (2000)

This series is about the "dawn of the X-Men". It's based around six mutant teenagers (Cyclops, Jean Grey, Kitty Pryde, Nightcrawler, Rogue and Spyke) coming to terms with their new powers. Professor Xavier features as head of the Xavier institute, and Wolverine and Storm are adult "mentors". And all the while, lurking in the background, is EVIL! Yes, Magneto and Mystique might well cause some trouble. And Magneto's voiced by CJ!
